 Only those who have learnt calligraphy know how difficult it is to write with a Chinese writing brush. Only those who know Chinese calligraphy know how beautifully you can write with a Chinese writing brush. The original purpose of Chinese calligraphy is simply to write, yet in the course of its development through history, its meaning has exceeded mere writing and has become an independent art form. It is fair to say that Chinese calligraphy is one of the arts of China which is well worth experiencing but which can only be approached through practice.
Course: one lesson per week, 2.5 hours per lesson
To learn the basic Chinese calligraphy craft and practice copying. The
teachers help students either beginning with the basics, or by improving
their existing skill.
